What Is HBOT?
Benefits + Target Areas
Benefits for body, mind, and recovery.
Accelerated Recovery from Physical Exertion
Enhances oxygen delivery to muscles, speeding recovery after intense workouts or physical activity.
Increased Energy and Vitality
Boosts cellular oxygen levels, reducing fatigue and promoting sustained energy throughout the day.
Enhanced Cognitive Function and Mental Clarity
Improves brain oxygenation, sharpening focus and supporting cognitive performance.
Improved Sleep Quality
Promotes relaxation and regulates sleep cycles, leading to deeper, more restorative sleep.
Enhanced Mood and Stress Reduction
Increases oxygen availability, which can reduce stress and improve emotional well-being.
Improved Circulation and Oxygenation
Enhances blood flow, delivering oxygen to tissues for optimal function and recovery.
Altitude Advantage
At 6,000+ feet, Colorado Springs air has about 20% less oxygen than sea level. Breathing 95% O2 at 2.0 ATA in our chamber means the contrast — and the benefit — is more dramatic here than anywhere at lower elevation. Visitors adjusting to altitude and locals training at elevation both notice the difference.
Support for Healthy Aging
Promotes cellular health and reduces oxidative stress, contributing to longevity and vitality.
Our environment, designed for longevity
Our Equipment
We built a toolkit, not a showroom. Every modality here was selected because the research backs it, then sourced from the providers who do it best. The same hard-shell hyperbaric technology used in clinical settings. The same anti-gravity treadmill trusted by professional athletes. That standard runs through everything we do.
Our Space
We designed Sisu around the belief that environment shapes outcomes. Intuitive flow between ten modalities, private changing areas, and a team present enough to guide you and experienced enough to get out of your way. This is what a serious longevity space feels like.
Our Amenities
Relaxation lounge, tea service, and hydration stations. We provide bench mats for every sauna session. Bring your own towel and robe, or pick up the real thing — we carry authentic Finnish sauna textiles in-studio. Private locker rooms and showers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Safety questions
Is HBOT safe?
HBOT has an excellent safety profile when administered properly. The most common side effect is temporary ear discomfort during pressurization, similar to flying. We’ll train you on equalization techniques and can adjust the pressurization rate to your comfort. Certain conditions (including some ear problems, certain lung conditions, and pregnancy) may require medical clearance. We’ll review your health history before your first session.
Can I use HBOT if I'm claustrophobic?
Our hard-shell chamber is spacious (it comfortably seats two people) and has a transparent door so you can see the room around you. Most people with mild claustrophobia do well. You’re always in control — you can end a session at any time. If you have severe claustrophobia, we recommend visiting to see the chamber before booking.
General questions
What does HBOT feel like?
Most people find sessions deeply relaxing. As the chamber pressurizes, you’ll feel pressure in your ears similar to descending in an airplane — we’ll teach you simple techniques to equalize comfortably. Once at pressure, you’ll simply relax and breathe. Many clients read, listen to music, or even nap. The chamber is spacious enough for two people and has clear walls so you won’t feel claustrophobic.
Who shouldn't use HBOT?
People with untreated pneumothorax (collapsed lung), certain ear conditions, uncontrolled high fever, or those who are pregnant should not use HBOT without medical clearance. If you have a pacemaker, have had recent ear surgery, or are taking certain medications, please discuss with us before booking. We’ll provide a full screening questionnaire to ensure HBOT is appropriate for you.
What should I wear? What can I bring?
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes. The chamber seats two, has a built-in smart TV with WiFi, and sessions run 60-90 minutes — bring
your laptop, watch something, or hold a meeting. Some of our most productive members treat HBOT as a working session. We provide blankets if you’d like.
Why does altitude matter for HBOT?
At Colorado Springs’ elevation, we breathe air with about 20% less oxygen than sea level. When you enter our chamber and breathe 95% oxygen at 2.0 ATA, the contrast is more dramatic than it would be for someone starting at sea level. Think of it as the difference between a 1-hour drive and a 12-hour drive — you’re traveling much further in the same time.
How is this different from the hyperbaric chambers at hospitals?
Medical (clinical) HBOT typically operates at higher pressures (2.0-3.0 ATA) and requires a physician’s prescription for specific medical conditions. Our HBOT operates at up to 2.0 ATA — the lower end of the clinical range — and is available for general wellness purposes without a prescription. We’re not treating medical conditions; we’re supporting your body’s natural capacity for recovery and vitality.
How is your chamber different from soft-shell chambers at other wellness studios?
Soft-shell (portable) chambers typically max out at 1.3-1.4 ATA and usually don’t include supplemental oxygen — you’re just breathing compressed room air. Our hard-shell chamber reaches 2.0 ATA and delivers 95% concentrated oxygen via mask or cannula. The combination of higher pressure plus concentrated oxygen results in dramatically more oxygen dissolved in your blood plasma — the whole point of the therapy.
Results Timeline
Will I notice results immediately?
Many people report feeling more energized and mentally clear immediately following a session. Some describe it as having ‘more bandwidth’ or feeling like a fog has lifted. However, experiences vary, and cumulative benefits often become more apparent with regular sessions over time. We recommend trying at least 3-4 sessions before evaluating whether HBOT is delivering value for you.
How long is a session and how often should I come?
Sessions typically last 60-90 minutes. For general wellness, many clients benefit from 1-2 sessions per week. Athletes may use sessions more frequently during heavy training blocks or recovery periods. For visitors adjusting to altitude, even a single session can make a noticeable difference. We’ll help you determine the right frequency based on your goals.
