Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before getting started.
What are longevity modalities?
Longevity modalities are evidence‑based treatments and practices that support long‑term health and recovery. At Sisu, this includes therapies like sauna, cold immersion, red light, and compression — all designed to reduce inflammation, enhance circulation, and strengthen the body’s ability to repair and adapt over time.
How do I know which Sisu modalities are right for me?
The best approach starts with understanding your current wellness goals. Our team recommends beginning by taking our quick longevity assessment to help align your goals and priorities — whether that’s recovery, stress management, or overall vitality.
Do I need to be experienced to participate at Sisu?
Not at all. Every modality at Sisu is designed to meet you where you are — whether you’re just getting started or have years of athletic training behind you. Our team will guide you through each experience, adjust intensity to your comfort level, and help you build confidence over time. Sisu is about showing up — not about where you start.
Can I combine multiple modalities in one visit?
Yes. Many members pair contrast therapy with compression or float sessions in a single visit. Our team can help you plan a schedule that makes the most of your time — whether that’s a quick 30-minute recovery session or a longer 90-minute visit combining multiple modalities.
Are all modalities included in every membership?
Membership plans include different levels of access. Some modalities are available at all tiers, while others are available as add-on or included at higher membership levels. Visit our Membership Plans page for a full breakdown, or schedule a tour and we’ll walk you through the options.
How long is a typical visit?
It depends on what you book. Individual sessions range from 10 minutes (red light therapy) to 90 minutes (float room). Many members schedule 60–90 minutes to combine a modality session with time in the sauna or relaxation area. There’s no rush — the space is designed for you to decompress before and after.
Do I need a membership to try a modality?
No. Single sessions and session packs are available for all modalities. A membership gives you regular access at a better rate, but you’re welcome to book individual sessions to try things out before committing.
