We focus on healthspan, the quality of your later years, not just the number of them.
That distinction is deliberate, and it is why our tagline reads the way it does. I cannot help you live longer. Nobody honestly can; that part is fate. What we can do is help you live better, longer.
I spent thirty-one years learning what wears a body down, and a fair number of Ironmans learning what it takes to come back. Everything in this building serves one of four pillars. We deliver two of them well, refer out for a third, and expect to add the fourth. Being straight about that is part of how we operate.
Pillar One: Managing Stress and Inflammation
This is the pillar most of our equipment serves, and it is where most people start.
The goal is to give your nervous system somewhere to downshift and your body a reason to adapt. Each modality approaches it differently, and most members settle on two or three they return to rather than using all of them.
Hyperbaric Oxygen
Breathing up to 95% oxygen at 2.0 ATA in a hard-shell chamber. Used to support recovery, circulation, and cognitive clarity, with a particular argument at 6,035 feet.
Contrast Therapy
Traditional Finnish sauna and cold plunge in sequence. The most direct application of deliberate acute stress, and where most first-time visitors start.
The Recovery Room
Normatec 3.0 compression for circulation, vibroacoustic therapy for nervous system regulation, and PEMF for cellular repair and pain. Three modalities, one room, often used together.
Red Light Therapy
Full-body photobiomodulation on a laydown bed rather than a panel. Supports cellular energy, recovery, and skin health.
Float Therapy
Removing sensory load entirely. Used to support sleep, stress recovery, and mental clarity. Sleep is foundational to everything else here.
Halotherapy
A grotto-styled salt cave with a working halogenerator. Respiratory comfort, skin health, and forty-five quiet minutes.
Pillar Two: Functional Movement
Recovery without capacity is only half the equation. The second avenue is movement, and not sport-specific movement. The ability to move well across everything life asks of you.
Functional movement means training patterns rather than muscles: getting off the floor, carrying a load, holding balance, absorbing a stumble. Those are the capacities that decide whether your later decades are independent ones, and they are trainable at any age.
The Longevity Training Lab is where that work happens. Cohorts are capped at four so movement quality can actually be coached. The AlterG Neo+ lets you run or rebuild your gait at a fraction of your body weight, with no physician referral required. Every member starts with the Sisu Assessment, so progress is measured rather than assumed.
We also run sport performance testing and movement recovery work for athletes who need something more specific.
Pillar Three: Nutrition
We do not offer nutrition services today.
That is not because it matters less. Nutrition sits alongside stress as one of the two biggest levers on inflammation and metabolic health, and no amount of sauna compensates for a diet working against you.
It is a pillar we expect to add. Until we can do it properly, we would rather say so than sell something thin.
Pillar Four: Functional Medicine
We refer out, and we do it deliberately.
Sisu is a wellness studio, not a medical clinic. We do not diagnose, we do not treat, and we do not order labs. When something needs a physician, whether that is bloodwork, hormones, gut health, or a condition that needs managing, that is a doctor’s work, and we will point you toward one.
I have worked with a functional medicine physician for years, long before it became a category people talked about. It is a genuine part of how I approach my own health, and it is the reason this pillar is on the list even though we do not deliver it.
That physician is Randy James, MD at True Life Medicine. I am his patient first. I have referred our clients to him when it made sense, and I am not paid to do so. I am telling you who I trust because you asked. I also believe functional medicine belongs in most people’s care, and it is part of mine.
Dr. James and True Life Medicine are independent of Sisu Longevity Studio. Dr. James is not Sisu’s medical director, does not supervise Sisu’s services, and the two businesses have no ownership, joint venture, or financial relationship.
Two Delivered, One Referred, One Coming
Most places in this category will tell you they do everything. We would rather tell you exactly what we do, do it properly, and be honest about the rest.
That is the whole approach. It is also what sisu means: doing the hard thing because it needs doing, not because it is comfortable.
Sisu Longevity Studio is a wellness facility, not a medical clinic. Nothing here is medical advice, and nothing we offer is intended to diagnose or treat a medical condition. If you have a health concern, talk to your physician.
